A Big Shout Out to/from Jackie & Joe O at PSA

Had the opportunity to speak with both Jackie and Joe at PSA today. I thanked them for all of the support they have provided
and the generosity with their donations toward the fundraising effort.

Joe had a lot to say, so to summarize the three key messages and keep it brief for all of you:

1) Thank you to all of the members of the forum community for the tremendous outreach you have made with your efforts on Mike's behalf.
With all of the negativity usually associated with blogs/message boards he wanted to convey his appreciation that the CU community is
filled with such a group of caring and wonderful people.

2) Joe hopes that this effort is not short-lived. He is committed to continue to help support our efforts to help Mike's family, and he indicated
that Jackie and he keep trying to find ways to do so within the limits placed upon them by corporate governance

3) While we all understand that the main "mission" around here is about collecting, Joe is pleased to see that so many of our community can
cut through that so easily and recognize that its really about people and relationships. He hopes that PSA can continue to attract the kinds of
members who he sees combing out during this difficult time, in hopes of growing the collecting community with similarly compassionate and
generous people who benefit from associating together through his organization (and others).

I'll stay in touch with Joe and Jackie as this develops in hopes that we can continue to enlist his support for Mike's family over the lon haul.

    Dave,

Thanks for sharing your conversations with us. It's nice to see that Jackie, Joe and the other people at PSA are just as concerned as Mike's fellow CU Members. When it comes down to it, despite the frequent arguments on these boards, most of our members are DAMN GOOD GUYS!
    STAY HEALTHY!

    Doug

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
