How to spend the rest of my birthday cash?...PIC'S ADDED!

So I have some cash leftover from family birthday stuff this past weekend. I was thinking of buying a card vending machine, but I can't find one in my price range. So I'm stuck...

Either a 1956 Topps Jackie Robinson or a PSA Gold Membership.

What would you go for? This would be my first membership with PSA.

Thanks!

  • depends on how many cards you have that you can grade i guess.
If i had enough cards, and knew i would be getting more to grade later, id probably go with the membership.

Although the Jackie Robinson would be tough to pass on as well

    1956 Topps Jackie Robinson DP.

  • Pulled the trigger on a 1956 Jackie Robinson. So pumped! It's on my bucket list of cards to own. It's a PSA 2, so it was in my price range. Good color and no creases. Corners are a little worn, but everything else looks great. I'll scan once I get it in.

Congrats on the card! My .02 is that you made the right decision. You can always jump in on a group sub when a nice special comes around. Unless you are subbing enough cards worth >$100 each to get full value out of your "free grades", you will make out better just piggybacking on group subs.

  • Totally digging it. That's my favorite Jackie card right there followed by his 1949 bowman.
