We actually have a local card show here in Dubuque, IA this weekend. Its Sunday September 21st at the Eagles Club (1175 Century Drive; right behind the mall). The show hours are 10 am to 230 pm. Its only 20-25 dealer tables, but if anyone from the area is interested in making the trip, my dad and I will be set up with some vintage and some unopened for sale.

Ha ha....no. Its my favorite baseball movie (close second is The Natural). The movie site is about 25 minutes from Dubuque.

I grew up outside of Cedar Rapids, and have lived in Iowa City and CR. Moved over a decade ago to DC when I was 25. Coincidentally, i'm flying into CR for a wedding this weekend.

I grew up in Newton, Iowa. There used to be a cool card shop on the south side of Des Moines called 4C's.

4C's long gone....Rich someone used to own it....sold it to Wayne someone like in 89ish...and he ran it into the ground
