Website vs Ebay

I have been selling on Ebay for quite a while. Was thinking about jumping over to my own hosted website. In doing my initial research/math I found that ebay fees would essentially pay for the web hosting if the volume of product I was selling didn't change. Has anyone made the jump from Ebay to a private website?

I do both as ebay is a fantastic place to advertise your business to the world.

Ebay has much higher volume and your will sell much more there.

I put all of my super cherry stuff on my website.

Everyone of my ebay customers get a link to my website and business card with their order.
