Memory Lane Auction prices / VCP...

Why arent the record-setting prices for some of the classic vintage cards (1957 Hornung RC, etc)showing up on VCP yet? Does it usually take this long for pricing info to update?....thanks

I think MLI did something to prevent VCP from collecting the closing price data from its auctions.

I am sure that Bobby will explain it when he sees this thread

  • Odd that ML would want to block that info...you would think they would want any future possible sellers to know how many dollars their auctions generate...And, they have always provided their data before....will be interesting to see what Bobby says....thanks

It took a long time for Memory Lane's Spring auction results to show up on VCP.........maybe there 's just another delay.

    Hi Guys,

Bobby asked me to post this message in response to the OPs question:

ML - after last auction they changed so that now you have to log in in order to see the prices. This makes it a private site and not accessible to public domain. Therefore we can not post their values without their permission.

When we first started out ML and Goodwin were part of our system then for some reason they decided not to be part of it anymore. I thought this was a very poor decision because we have large Want Lists notifying our members of cards they are looking for with direct links.

Either way we would love to have access to their data and if anyone knows JP or Goodwin maybe they can convince them to change.

    Thanks,

    Bobby
