What, this Althing?

I've posted it before, but I kinda forget about it and rediscover it because it's not in my slabbed box...

Mintage: 10,000

Commemorating the 1,000th anniversary of the Icelandic Althing (Icelandic Parliament).
Struck privately by the Saxon State Mint, Muldenhutten, Germany, at the instigation of a Parliamentary committee.
Under a law on the celebration of the millennium of the Althing in 1930 the government was permitted to issue a set of medals with embossed value. The law stipulated that the medals could be given validity as legal tender by a royal decree, but this provision was never carried into effect.

I've always liked this coin a lot and want to own it but never noticed before how long his upper legs are.
This is a very nice specimen and I imagine there arenm't a lot of the boxes left.
That is a very nice 10 Kroner.
