Even if you find a copy of conder101's book (which is a great reference), it is outdated. That's to be expected because he really started the interest in slab collecting when he published his first, and so far only, edition. Interest in slab collecting has brought out so many varieties and companies that were not in his work. For example, I have found over 25 unlisted ACG slab varieties and many "new" companies.
