Not sure what is going on...

My snipe program shows I won two auctions on eBay. When I go the auction, I see the same price winning the auctions but it's not me.. and both are won by the same other person. I have not received any emails from eBay and they are not showing in my "buying" section. Something go wrong with my snipe site?

Oh crap. The same thing happened to me multiple times last week on auctions I really wanted. My snipes were more than double the actual sales price and they did not go through. I have been told that eBay may be deliberately sabotaging the snipe sites in order to get people to pay for one they create themselves in the near future. I have no proof of that but I sure it's hope not true.

Just confirmed, even though I swear I was logged in correctly, that I was logged in the snipe program under my non-US eBay account so the auctions were under the foreign account.

I wonder if ebay is screwing with the snipe programs because they might build one

OR

if they are screwing with them in hopes that people will start to put in bids earlier, thereby potentially delivering higher final hammer prices and more FVF fees in the process

I was under the impression that Ebay owned Auction Sniper.

I have not had any problems with my snipes on Auction Sniper in the past few weeks.
