My guess is Goodell is toast!

Heat is on and the press and social media want more blood.

He blew this call, bad.

Whether his termination is justified, I will leave that for others to decide.

In a tense world where a professional sports team owner can be dumped for a phone call or email, I think he is through.

    I think everyone needs to chill the F out about whats going on in the NFL and concentrate on bigger problems like Welfare, Starvation and Terrorism.

    You are correct, but my point is about the MASSIVE Media coverage over this I mean this story is absolutely huge in epic proportions. What about the children in Africa getting raped and murdered on a daily basis? The Growing Terrorism threats all over the world? People starving in this country? The NFL banned the guy but not quick enough and everyone is up in arms about it, how about concerning yourselves with bigger problems?

    Who cares what the viewers of CNN think? The juggernaut that is the NFL is a private enterprise, and removing or retaining Goodell will have almost zero impact on the thing the owners care about: money

    The NFL will not want the negative publicity. It shouldn't matter anyway. People will stop paying attention to this story once we begin to bomb Syria.

    Logical observations/analysis in what should be done in these type of situations never seem to apply. Kind of like the new head of the Veterans Affairs for the government. He was a former CEO for Procter/Gamble the soap company. No VA experience required.

    Agreed. Don't see Goodell getting removed as commissioner.

    My take on this is that it is blown way out of proportion. How many times does this act of violence occur a day.......thousands!

    Yes, it is terrible, but it is a big deal because he is an NFL player........what about the rest of the women???? Does their grief not count because they were hit by non famous men!!!

    All men....again ALL men should be held accountable for this and dealt harshly with and get this act of violence towards women STOPPED forever!!!!

    You're right, Perk, this whole thing is getting blown out of proportion. Without further details, I see no reason to remove Goodell. Like Mikey said, the drama du jour will soon move on. I'm sure one of the Kardashians will get knocked up... hey, anything to keep the masses distracted from the real issues in the Ukraine, Estonia, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Israeli/Palestinian crisis.
