I didn't realize you created that site to throw your hat into the consignment selling ring.

What is the primary return you are looking to get out of the site... what is the ideal return you want to get from having it? Understanding your goals for the site may help others provide feedback.

I like the Naptown notes section and look forward to future installments. Unique, quality content is a great way to increase site visibility within search engines and drive traffic.

Are those footprints running along the vertical borders on some of the pages? image

    Some small spelling items:

"Unlike large national consigner's" should be "Unlike large national consigners"

"we want you to know that you can get a hold of us" should be "we want you to know that you can get ahold of us"

Both from your "Consign With Us" page.

Overall, nice site but a bit sparse. Perhaps a few more photos of your own stuff or collections you've sold?

    Good luck to you!

Check your site out it took me a minute to figure out what the site was all about then I saw your one small
clickable consign with us. You may want in the to add a second larger clickable we consign to your home page.

Also if you have been a dealer, cards store, or ebay store owner for a few years it wouldn't hurt to see those
    qualification's on your home page.

  • Guys I really appreciate the feedback. I've been doing consignment with friends and family for about 6 months now. I'm working on getting some testimonials from them that I can put up.

I have a slideshow at the bottom of the home page showing pictures of a more recent collection I had consigned to me, but I don't think it's getting the exposure it needs there on the bottom. I'm going to work on placement.

Please keep the observations coming. I want this to do well and I'm thankful for your help.

If your just starting out you can do some rolling testimonials like some sites have showing there eBay feedbacks
which change every few seconds. Also add a join us on Facebook link and any other social media outlets your using
    to promote your business.

Maybe think about adding a chat room may help to get some good feedback and
keep some of your customers close to home.

Checked out your show setup page you should add you are accept consignments
there and will be able to answer questions there about consign to you. You may want
to throw in a cellphone number on that page to.

If your setting up at show to accept consignments you may want to wear shirt and hat
with company logo on it so you look professional. Also make sure you have plenty of
    business cards on hand.

You may want to look into setting up at more than one show. Having two show on
your show calendar makes you look like you are more serious about your business.

Let me know if you like any of these ideas.
