... or lack of focus, depending on how you look at it. Here is a pic of my mail day at the office today. Now, I just got back from a week of vacation so there are probably about 2 weeks worth of cards that were waiting for me. This pic pretty much sums up my 2014 collecting experience. About the only thing missing to fully encapsulate the experience would be a 1961 Fleer BK PSA card, a Kevin Durant PSA 10 and some BBCE unopened boxes (I did get one in the mail, it's just not pictured).

My favorite football card of the 80's and probably ever. I am a big 49er fan and growing up in SF in the 80's this and the Montana rookie card were THE cards to me.
I have wanted this card since junior high. I just started a 500 HR RC collection and this one is card number three.
Andrew Luck is the only modern FB player I collect. I am working on his Topps Chrome RC non-auto "rainbow" in PSA 10. I probably overspent on the Blue Refractor, this will happen when you are the underbidder on like 7 straight auctions I now have his regular chrome card, Xfractor, Prism Refractor /299, Camo Refractor /499 and Blue Refractor /199 in PSA 10. I think I still need the Pink, Black, Blue Wave, Blue Wave "Chuck Strong" and regular refractor to complete the project. I also picked up the BGS 9.5 Blue Wave Chuck Strong Refractor below to try and cross it to a PSA 10.
One of my other favorite player collections going on right now is Anthony Davis. I got as much enjoyment out of winning this $11 auction as I did the more expensive cards above. I have cards of his that run a large gamut of values. With Davis and Luck, I just like adding as many of their RC's as possible to my PSA 10 collection regardless of value. Some images below of more cards I got this week. I won a lot of 8 of his RC's from an eBay seller this week.
Thanks for peeping my post and checking out my collecting focus (as it is now anyway)
Edited to add: I won the two 1972 unopened Topps BB packs this week. Since I have a solid run of 80's wax boxes, I have begun dabbling in 70's unopened. I have to go by the pack since boxes are hard to find and not really in the budget for now. I have a hard time passing up on good deals and I think I got both at pretty good values, especially the PSA one. The only bummer on the PSA pack is that the slab has seen better days. I believe it's $5 for cards, does anyone know how much it would be to reholder PSA pack slabs.
