If you are a kid, even if you know its not very good, how in the world could you not eat it?

I do remember my brother and I having a stack of around 100 sticks because we got tired of eating it since we were ripping too many packs...probably around 1982....but still we wound up eating it all. I would have been 10 and my brother was 8 at that time.

The gum was perfect and very thoughtfully designed.

Topps put a lot of effort into ensuring the gum flavor lasted just long enough to be able to go through a pack of cards (including reading the backs).

By the time you were ready to rip the next pack, it was just about time for a new piece anyhow!
