Home Buy, Sell & Trade - Cards & Memorabilia

Someone is trying to BLACK mail me LOL EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS funny stuff.

This guy SMarbury3GNets@aol.com

Me and him had a deal going and it was really high end so i was really pumped. I have been around beckett.com for a long time and i have never seen this guy he gave me two refs and wanted me to send same time i kept saying no and he said he whould send in sured for 100.00 i said fine i felt if he sends then i made a good deal if he doesnt then i loose nothing. Well 2 weeks went by and he emails me saying " I Havent recived your card yet when did you send?" I told him i never aggreed to send same time and i havent recived anything from you. a few days go he emails me saying i better send his cards back because he has proof he says he sent 100.00 insured. Well i email him saying i never signed for anything so there is no way i got it. He gets all mad and says

"Alright, Well then why do you deal on beckett.com? If you are theif, just say so. Anyways, my package was sent insured up to $100.00. At any rate I will file fraud on you and libelity. I will also send your name around as I am known pretty well on the net. You are going to be on the outside looking in. Good bye"

I emailed him
"if you sent insured for 100.00 i whould have had to signed for it and i havent signed for anything. Do what you will but i hope you know that it if you file faulse Mail fraud you could be put in jail or fined. if you try to charge me for something i never did you will end up getting in trouble."

Now i just got this
"Well, I filed U.S. Mail Fraud on you along with libelity. The deal clearly stated we would send sametime, you did not. You broke a binding contract. Please send my card back or send me what you owe me. -Brian"

LOL he want something for nothing.

Plmk what you guys think.

lmao....sounds like the crackpot that said he sent a $1000 arod/ripken auto uninsured, in a plain white envelope...and when it got to me, "mysteriously" there was an empty toploader and no card....dont sweat it, if youve done nothing wrong, you wont be in any trouble.
  • now i have dealt a few times before with Bryan and everything has gone great. It seems to me like there was miscommunication, because by me just reading what you typed, it seemed like you 2 were both still going to send same time and his was going to be insured. That is all i am seeing.

    ooooooooooohhhhhhh...thats y

but carol, isnt it important for us to know who the ripoffs are, and to stay away from them...if their names arent made public, everyone will lose cards to scumbags like them...just a thought.
  • Wow!!! Well this place is going to be a total haven for scammers then. You might want to go back over all the posts ive made here over a year and delete all the bad trader/scumbags addys ive posted.

Anyways if addys are not alowed then this forum officially sucks!!! Looks like the rippers will take over here. Thank god for TR.

    Later.

OMG Vlittle, he did the same to me. I'm bringing him down though. He knows he can't file mail fraud, since the address he gives to people out in CA is fake. He live in the windy city and makes his money this way. I told him already that if he files mail fraud, there will be no God for him when I arrive. He has threatened to kill my family and I will take care of this any way necessary. Contact me if you want to help take him down.

As long as you never went to the post office or had your postal person come to your house to have you
sign for the package, there is no way in hell he can do anything to you. Sounds like he is just trying
to scare you into sending cards to him.

I just traded that guy some autographics cards a couple of weeks ago. We said same time, but he waited til he got mine before he sent. He said his computer was down. I did get the stuff, but the deal was not as agreed.
