In case you didn't know , tax returns are about to get more complex due to the ACA. Living in Mass as I do , we have been dealing with this for years , now the rest of you can too.

Everyone likes lots of worksheets , amIright?

Seriously , you get to do a 7 or 8 page form every year here and you can't file a return without it. According to the link that is coming to every state and if you received any kind of subsidy based on estimated income now you are going to have to prove you deserved it with your tax return. If you didn't qualify , you get to give it back I suppose.

If you are on the ball, this should be no biggie. If your estimated income is close to your actual income, you should be ok. If not, report any changes + or - like you're supposed to and you should be good to go.

There are services [other than valet] that re-park cars? I could be wrong, but I expect that those getting OC subsidies don't have much of a tax obligation to start with.
