Wouldn't take my log-in and said my e-mail address is not registered on the site.

    Ebay was down for me as well. Last night the registers in Sears were out. What is the world coming to?

    Yep - Same here. Not able to access account. Listed items show up when you search for them, but then the item is not available when clicked on. Can't get through on phone.

    Don't bother calling. Ebay is aware of the problem and is working on fixing it.

    Yep, having the same issue here. Trying to search to find one of my items for sale and when I click on it, it doesnt bring the item page up. All customer service lines are down. When I try to logon, gives me that I am not a registered user and that my email/ID is invalid. Sounds like a major hack involved or just a typical day in the incompetent world of ebay


    Edited to add: They will probably issue an apology and some free listings, but not in the categories any of us use

    Ebay CS actually called me to ask about the new features they are implementing for store owners about an hour after the crash and they asked if I had taken a look at it yet.....

    eBay is like watching some anonymous kid grow up.

    it starts out innocently enough, and the kid actually stays photogenic for around 10 years.

    then, there's the tweens and development of an attitude and some chronic acne.

    now it's become a rebellious young adult that enjoys flaking out and hanging with the wrong crowd.

    I am unable to sign in. A message appears in red that says "Your email/user ID or password is incorrect." Does anyone know what is going on? This appears to be pretty bad. I am not a seller. I only buy on eBay. This is the first time that anything like this has happened to my account in thirteen years.

    I can sign in, but gives me an error when I try to look at Purchase History. I can see my Sold history though (nothing actively selling right now).

    Second time in days my snipes didn't go through. I got the same error message you mention. Getting annoying.

    I tried bidding on a few items right before they ended and it was a mess. It took 8 attempts to get one bid to to go in.

    If you have items ending right now that really stinks.

    My account is set up on ebay.ca so maybe that is why it works fine for me. When I flip to ebay.com everything works for me as well though.

    I agree Wrestling Card King. This is bad. I just hope that it wasn't caused by a hacker.

    This is not good. Charrigan, why do you say "again"? Was eBay hacked into recently? Last week someone gained access to my credit card information, and I only used that credit card on Amazon and eBay. I had to cancel it and have the credit card company issue me a new one. Very suspicious.
