1953 Topps set less than 10 to go!

I am finally at less than ten assorted commons to go on my PSA 6-7 53 set. I just picked up a nice Mays in a six and have a handful of hi numbers left no major stars. I had thought that a EX-MT+ 53 set would take forever but I cleaned out a part of my collection that didn't fit my focus ( think most collectors have that ) and went after it. Will post scans once I'm done. I think this set is timeless. If topps could have slipped in a Williams and Musial maybe a Snider than it would have been the perfect set.

    Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    Mick have you listed your set on the Registry? I am looking for PSA 8's for my set and have 100 duplicates in PSA 6/7 that I could trade you. PM me if you have any PSA 8's and the cards you need.
    Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases

    The sets on the registry as "Topps best looking set". I still have. 5 cards to upload to it and that leaves nine to go. I'm trying to move a few nice vintage cards to help with the last 9. One specific that I can't believe hasn't gone yet is a very nice 52 Psa 7 should be a 7.5 Yogi Berra. I've even under cut the price by a hundred bucks! It's a first card from a great set. 1954 I don't have any 8's wish I did your set is probably amazing!

    I'm working on a 56 set also I'm about 60% percent done on that one in 7+. Is your set graded or raw? If it's raw I have a handful of real nice raw cards you can have. Selling them would be more of a hassle than its worth if rather another collector have them. Let me know.

    The 53 set is really a classic. If I could afford it it would be next on my list of sets to build. Would love to see scans!

    Im really starting to think about starting on this set myself.

    This is by far my favorite part of my collection. These look great in ex shape to I actually started thinking about a ex set but figured I'd shoot for the moon and go 6-7 and was not disappointed.

    Awesome. I love this set too. So hard to find nm cards in this year but when you do they are super sharp. Congrats

    Well done. That is a phenomenal set. Real tough to find nice cards without visual issues with those dark borders.
