Any info on this 1938 Goetz medal?

I recently came across this silver medal which was offered to me at a very reasonable price. Since I collect German coins by type I thought it would be a nice and slightly different addition to my collection. At home under the magnifying glass I noticed that this is in fact a Goetz medal!

I have been searching the net but I have only found a slightly similar medal in zinc. This is silver, 90%, and the medal is struck in Bavaria - so it says on the edge. The weight is 19,47 gram and the diameter is around 36,5 mm.

I am unsure of which event this medal commemorates - but since 1938 was the year of the "Anschluss", the German annexation of Austria, this event seems a likely candidate. Can anyone confirm this?

Any info on this medal is appreciated. I would also be happy if someone would dare an educated guess as to its market value. For insurance reasons I keep a record of the value of all my coins image
