JUST TO INFORM ANYONE THAT MAY HAVE INTEREST, THERE WILL BE A 1961 PCGS PROOF 67 DOUBLE DIE REVERSE HALF DOLLAR ON TELETRADE MONDAY 5-20-2002.
THIS COIN IS QUITE RARE AND TIED FOR HIGHEST GRADED 1961 D.D. BY PCGS. A VERY CLEAN PIECE WITH NO SPOTS OR DISTRACTIONS.

    I'll bet it's this coin that sold for $3,000 on e-Bay back on April 2. I'd like to have one, but I'm concentrating on Merc's right now.

    Hi Jim,
    actually it is another one! the first one the winner was delighted with and it had a slight cameo, this one does not. But it is mark free and super nice and graded about 3 1/2 weeks ago.

    The Cherrypickers' Guide (3rd edition) gives it a URS-7 (33 to 64 known). Have personally checked hundreds of 61 proof sets with no luck! Good luck selling it, I'm gonna keep looking.
