    It does look like an original (rather than put-together) roll.

    He also has a roll of 1885- CC dollars that looks original, too. Didn't look past the first page of listings, may have more.

    You can buy slabbed 64 pieces for $85-$115 a piece + or -, seems a bit steep @ 135 each. Maybe there are 66's in the bunch.

    Thats why I posted it here........so the experts can pick them apart .I didn't think they came in rolls.

    Well, "original roll" of morgans in the sense that all 20 coins appear to have the same general appearance, particularly the edges and overall "look" of the coins' surfaces, and possibly many of the coins share the same die characteristics, indicating that these 20 coins were from the same bag of morgans or if not from the same bag, at least from the same delivery, and have been together ever since

    It is very, very difficult, if not impossible, to duplicate this effect in any "put together" group of 20 morgans or peace dollars, or any 50+ year old coins for that matter.
