1980-81 Topps BK cards question

Looking for some help and advice.
Ok I busted a few 1980 topps packs and have about 15 cards that look Mint or better. Im trying to navigate the VCP and PSA pop report and now my head just hurts.
What is the best method to check these VCP along with PSA pop reports? My main problem is the Pop report part.
Also did they mess up the pop report by grading the same card in different categories or anything like that?
I mean there are like 5+ complete PSA sets yet they show several that have only 1 or 2 copies graded.

Does anyone have advice on how they use these tools for this set?

VCP does the only thing that makes any sense of this set, they do it in alphabetical order by last name.

#1 is: Abdul-Jabbar, Mitchell, Tyler
#2 is: Abdul-Jabbar, Parish, Burleson
#3 is: Abdul-Jabbar, Shumate, Demic
#4 is: Abdul-Jabbar, Thompson, Taylor
#5 is: Adams, Cartwright, Issel
#6 is: Adams, Free, Dantley

etc., etc., etc.....

Now if there was an easy way to find them on ebay. I guess searching by name is the best way.

I wish PSA would grade the seperated singles for this set. They must have a holder that fits these, and they grade plenty of other perferated issues, so why not this one? A few Bird rookie singles and Magic rookie singles wouldn't be a bad thing. They could also be added to the Player Registy, hence a nice chunk of $$ for PSA.

I've called before and was told no, they don't give # grades to the singles, when asked why, I got the standard, I don't know. When 4SC calls, or just sends them in, then it'll be done. Until then, the rest will just have to wait.
