Just got my cards back today.I sent in 16 mid to early 70's OPC hockey. For this submition l cherry picked the best ones l had without regard to value or pop #'s.My results were 2 - 10's and 4- 9's the rest were 8's and a couple of 7's.Is that about the right percentage - .13 % of the order will be 10's ?.I would like to hear from some of the bigger submiters and learn what their #'s are in relation to % of the total order.Probably just my inibillity to judge condition.

Every set is different. I have had subs with no 10's and subs with 40%.
The best way I would say to tell is go look at the pop report and see what the percentage of 10's are for each set and use that as your benchmark.
The best advice I got before my first sub was to critically examine each, assume they are not yours to remove the bias as much as possible, and write down the grade you expect, and track your results.
My handful of subs have mostly been in the vintage 3.5-8 range and I've been surprisingly accurate on most (the key for me has been removing my bias), and the bulk of the ones I was off on, I had missed something, that for whatever reason seemed more clear when I got it back in the case. Only a few gave me the WTH am I missing.
Good Luck.
Jim
I think you did very well with your sub for early 70's OPC.
