Sent in 2000 cards from the 1970's to PSA

I am new to this and was very interested to start talking cards to you collectors. I decided back in February to send in a mass of cards in hopes to hit some PSA 10's. I sent in 1973, 1974, 1975 topps baseball and 1973-1976 football. I did pretty well as I got back 19 PSA 10's, about 500 psa 9's, tons of psa 8's and a handful of 7's. I am a collector of 1971 Topps greatest moments, 1964 topps Stand ups, 1954 Wilson Franks, 1954 Dan Dees, and 1934 Batter ups. I currently have the number one set on the 1971 topps greatest moments set. Anyway, back to the point. I thought that perhaps someone out there might have some of the cards I am looking for and maybe I could help you with yours. If you would like to email me, you can do so directly.
PSA has really been very good with their turnaround time. I have been a member for four years and they really seem to have it together. Anyone have a Andy Pafko Wilson Weiner for sale or any other card from this set?

Keep collecting,
Shane

Collector of 1971 topps greatest moments, 1954 Wilson franks, 1954 dan dee, 1934 batter-up , 1964 topps standups.

Welcome Shane image. That's an awesome job on your 1971 Topps Greatest Moments. I know how tough that set is in high condition.

1971? No one in their right mind collects any baseball cards from that year.

Glad to see Shane has joined the forum. I've completed a couple deals with him before, always a smooth transaction. Very knowledgeable and a good guy. But man, I can't imagine 2000 cards at once. I bet your mailman earned his pay the day he delivered them back to you. What's that, about 50 pounds?

    Helionaut,

I generally get 200 cards graded at a time. I'd bet that that box is around 25 pounds. Do the math and his mailman will be looking for a REALLY nice present at Christmas time...

Shane - What was the turnaround time for your 2000 card submission?
  • 19541954 Posts: 2,898 ✭✭✭
the turnaround time is somewhere around 15-25 business days. They have been very good the past couple of months.
