Baseball Cards In Sean Maguire's Office!

We were watching Good Will Hunting last night when I noticed in his office on his corkboard (Sean's, as played by Robin Williams) a collection of old cards one of which is a 1934 Goudey I believe! I paused the movie and took some pics, pretty crappy ones, (but this movie is on all the time and most of you probably own it anyway)to see if we can figure out who is on his cork board in his office. We know he is a Red Sox fan but why the Lou Gehrig card?
I first saw them about 38 minutes in and the set changes around in later scenes but there are at least five or six cards on that board!

    That's funny you bring this up. I was watching another Robin Williams movie today - Awakenings - and there is a scene near the beginning where a boy is in his room and up on his wall near his bed is a bunch of T218 cards - boxers, track and field, etc....

    I see a '53 Jackie Robinson, Play Ball DiMaggio, 34 Gehrig, a Cracker Jack Shoeless Joe, and I believe a Hank Greenberg. Nice collection there.

    Was there a poster available illustrating that selection of vintage cards? That seems like what he might have there.
