I'm about to rip a BUNCH of stuff...

...that nobody cares about.

I found (essentially) the Dave & Adam's of Italy. It was free shipping if you spent 75 Euros, so I bought two packs of everything soccer related, cards, stickers, whatever.

I figured I would check out a little of everything and hopefully something will catch my eye.

I'll try to post updates.

It was interesting, to say the least.

    I'll post some scans tonight.

Sorry it took me a while. Baby house prep is very time consuming. Rip was fun - I didn't get anything wildly exciting, but I definitely enjoyed it, and definitely found some things to order more of.

Observation: They are big on different sizes, shapes, textures of things - but they also have a bunch of manufacturers vying for space in the market. It's almost like the Euro Commie Socialists have figured out that competition breeds innovation, and monopolies don't. Who knew?

So, without further adieu (and without Freddy Adu):

Thanks for posting the scans. No idea on value for most of it, but there are a few bigger names among what you've shown. What year/set is the Zidane puzzle card from?

2004 Panini French League stickers, I think.

Forgot to mention - pictured are one example each of everything I ordered.

Looks like a fun rip! Did they carry any other sports as well?

Did you scan the best pull from each type of set you opened, or just a card at random for each regardless of player?

I tried to pick the most recognizable player. I did get plenty of inserts (in the cards), and packs with multiple familiar names as well.

I don't think they did, but I didn't look closely. I really enjoyed the rip. I'll be purchasing more soon. I really liked the "Atomic Football." (The clear discs in scan #2.)

    Any Ronaldos?

Other than the Fat Ronaldo Inter card in scan 3, no.

Cool. I think I prefer the cards in slide 5. Particularly the top-middle 2 and the yellow borders.

    Which are those?

The last two slides are all stickers. The Baggio is an "Italy" set from 1998. Seems to be kind of a "greats of the Italian national team" kind of deal. The De Rossi is 2009-10 Panini Calciatori. The Calciatori sticker sets are massive - usually 800-900+ stickers that cover all four levels of Italian soccer.

The Quagliarella is 2013-14 Panini Calciatori, and the Di Natale is 2011-12 Panini Calciatori.

By the way, I think I pulled either a De Rossi or Dejan Stankovic out of almost every product. image

Also, I don't recommend the Cyprus League stickers (slide 5, top left). Probably not a whole lot of star power there - and if there was, you'd never be able to read the name anyway.
