Jackpot!!! Congrats on a true blazer. Looking forward to seeing what grade Mr. Brown gets.

<< <i>I would send that to PSA endless times until it comes back a 10! >>
This is the correct answer!! Congrats on a sweeeeeeeeet card!!
Bull)(*t! That card is a PSa 9 all day long and has a true shot as any for the 10. If PSA gives this an 8 we need to march like the guys in St. Louis right now.

But these 2 are minty.

Del Shofner has 2 10's and 20 9's.
Clearance Peaks has 1 10 and 12 9's.
Congrats.
Looks like it may be worth it to keep cracking some of the vintage.
This card is a blazer!

Just send me a PM or email me for discount off eBay pricing. Thanks
Thanks for all the kind words! I never imagined a card like that would be possible in a 50+ year old pack.
I dont know where to put it right now until it goes to PSA.

One time at the Philly sports card show I saw a pack of 1985 OPC hockey with a water mark on the front and the dealer said he has had that pack for ever and couldn't sell it. I paid $35 for it and pulled a Lemieux rookie out of the middle of the pack in perfect shape. The dealer was blown away.. It came back a PSA 9 oc.

I haven't seen anyone say it 'never' pays off, but at current pricing of much 70s material it's highly unlikely for ripping to be a profitable venture. 59 1st Series FB cellos have much better odds of being profitable when you can pick them up for $300-400 and have 13 chances in an 88-card series of pulling the Brown, Unitas, Starr, and a couple mid-level rookies.
OP, Incredible rip! Are you considering opening more after that pull?

That is a pretty card.

But the back was centered 75-25 LR 65-35 Tb
So, when's the next group rip?

Good luck with the sub.

<< <i>For those curious, there is only 1 PSA 10 and 34 PSA 9's of that Brown. Bet the dude with the PSA 10 won't be happy about this thread.

Great Pull! Exactly that is why they wont give it a 10. Too few.
Unless I'm missing something - a 9 for sure - and hopefully a 10! Congratulations on the nicest pack I've ever seen. Wow.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Just a few things to add to the comments.
This was a 1959 Cello, but it was not a single 1st series cello. I think most 1959s are mixed. This cello only had 4 1st series cards and 8 2nd series cards.
Only 12 cards in the cello.
I will bust a few more but will hold off for now.
And I will let yall know how it grades.
