Review Poppage

Sent these in for my CC renewal. All were straight PSA 8s. All were in older pre 1/2 grade slabs. I thought the Yogi had a real good chance to bump. The two upgrades are nice hits though. Low pop 8s. The Courtney is now a pop 3 with only 2 higher.

I found it interesting that they re-holdered all of the cards. The first three cards are from the 2nd series so they did need to upgrade the slabs to denote the specific back, but there are no back variations for the last three so theoretically no need to re-holder. Do they automatically re-holder on reviews now? Has anybody sent in any cards for review and not had them re-slabbed?

Nice hits! I don't think they automatically reholder, but probably needed to crack out to verify something they couldn't confirm while in the slab.

What's wrong with that Berra? Is there a slight touch on the upper left and lower right corners? It looks like a real nice card!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • Maybe the new policy is to automatically reholder into their new style slabs whether the card(s) bump or not.

No sticky notes pointing out the reason they didn't bump. I can only assume they didn't like one or more corners. Personally, I thought it was the nicest of the cards I submitted.

This was only my 2nd review sub, but they didn't reholder all of the cards in my first one which was last year.
