Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • I would say it is 99.9% fake. I base that on the following:

#1) Too many different characteristics from other examples such as a pronounced "n", big loop in the "d", plus others.
#2) Because of a local Cooperstown shop selling a large group of Artvue post cards which resurfaced with many fakes making this item high risk.
#3) Too many vintage autograph knowledgeable buyers to let this go on ebay for only $260. Worth more like $4000!

Alexander is one of the rarest signed plaques there is. This one's no good, probably a Ron Dross forgery.
