Question regarding reholdering

I have one of the 1963 Topps variations. It appears as though it was graded prior to PSA denoting variations. If I send in to reholder will PSA automatically change the label? Or do I have to specify?

Same goes for my T206 with "Unknown Backs." Will PSA automatically denote which back it is? Or do I have to specify?

I often have this same question on some other cards. Wish they could be clearer on this whole 'reholdering' thing. And whatever happened to the 'very aggressive' reholdering special old Joe O. wrote about a while back?

You should specify to play it safe. Also, denote the minimum grade too, because I recently had cards downgraded during a beholder. Some of these graders are thinking they are correcting grading mistakes.
