Today's yard sale pickups - glasses and cups and mugs, oh my

Been on a dry spell lately with finding anything sports related at yard sales.

Came across these this morning - paid 10 bucks for everything

WOW! Very nice. Do you have a place you are going to display them? How the hell can you go wrong for TEN BUCKS?????

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

LOL - no idea where I'm gonna put them. I just bought them cause they were there. And like you said, couldn't go wrong for 10 bucks

I sent the coffee mugs through the dishwasher this afternoon and used the big blue Pats mug for my after dinner coffee though image

    Hiya Mike

Ya must know I like it! Cool.

That's how we get into accidental collections. I got into whiskey decanters and baseball banks that way.

I still have my Jeff Kent "day" plastic cup from Shea Stadium - came with the beer.

    Thanx for sharing.

    Mike

Very nice Zep 33. I particularly like the throwback New England Patriots glasses. Congratulations on a great deal.

If I brought another plastic sports cup into my house, I think my wife would kill me.

"Plastic Sports Cups" might make for an interesting thread, actually.

Which makes me wonder what's up with the Mets mug image

My favorites are the glasses in the back that seem to picture actual baseball cards. And is that Yaz I see on 2 of the plastic cups??

There are 2 Mets coffee mugs - one from 1986 and the other is a 25th Anniversary of the 69 team.

There are 2 Braves mugs - One a 1992 World Series and the other a spring training from 2002

The Hall Of Fame mug has Brooks Robinson on the other side.

Those ones in the back are 1993 McDonalds glasses - There's a set of 10 of them but I only got 4

Yeah Dan, 2 of the plastic cups are Yaz Texaco cups - no date on them.

You want one of them? PM me your address

As a Red Sox fan, I feel it's your obligation to smash that one or at least send it to a Mets fan image

If the Sox still hadn't won a World Series by now, I probably would - but I got over 86 in 2004 image
