PSA grading-how does this work

I have two of the same card I want to get graded....can I get psa to grade them both, but I only want the lower grade slabbed. I want to get the higher grade slabbed later but I want them to "guarantee" the higher graded card will be given the grade they said it achieved. I don't want the higher grade card to be part of any population report.

I think one card will grade a 6 and the other has a shot at a 6.5 or 7 .

    I'm assuming you want to pawn off the first (lower) card on eBay as a 1 of 1 or highest graded. Once sold for a hefty price, you turnaround and top it with the second card. I'm guessing this is exactly what PSA does not want. But why not give it a shot? Send off the two cards (along with that hefty shipping charge) and see what the folks in Newport Beach have to say. What have you got to lose?
