1988 Topps Baseball cloth set?

I recently found and won an auction for a 1988 Topps cloth Eric Plunk (main player I collect). I never knew these existed and can only find little information on them.

Any idea of how many were made? How rare, if they are even rare at all, are these?

It was a test set created and released(or backdoored) by Topps. It was in sheet form and were cut aftermarket. I believe they are scarce but not extraordinarily pricey.
