Anyone know anything or factual history about these off weight dimes?
I think Herbert said they were rolled thin dime stock planchets, but did he actually test the metal content itself?
Has anyone ever done a SEM/EDS type of test on these dimes to see if the metal is normal 90% silver, or if it could be 75% silver 2 gram planchet stock?
Any info helpful.
