My National purchases

Had another wonderful time at the National, and it was great seeing Eric, Mike, Kirk, Dan, Dustin and the rest of the gang at BBCE, PSA and at the Luncheon. Missed you Matt and Bobby!

And I left with empty pockets but with six cards I'm thrilled with, here they are:

And here are the two biggies:

Andy, I missed bumping into you this year, but it looks like you were busy. image

Wow, the Paige is an awesome pickup even if I am partial to the Mays. I'll see you next year.

Awesome cards. I have ben looking for that Mantle in a PSA 8 or 9. Looks great!

Nice centering on the Mantle and think I saw that one while I was there. Picked some Mantles, Ted Williams, and Bench cards while I was there. Almost pulled the trigger on the '56 in PSA 8 but got some good advice and held off for a better one down the road - little too much tilt on the one I was looking at.

On the Marichal looks like they did not like the upper right/lower right corners. Still a beauty of a card and an 8.5.

It is a 9......if it wasn't Mariachal. If that was Bob Purkey it might be a 10.

  • Great job on the pick ups. Love the Mays. Thats one that I want in that grade but its hard to find well centered copies. Either that or people are holding on to them. They are all blazers actually.
