Chinese?

Probably a long shot, but I could use some help identifying some foreign cards issued in China. Does anyone on here speak or read Chinese?

Oh. When I saw the title of the thread I thought, "yes please! I'll have some General Tso's chicken and beef lo mein." What a letdown.

Love General Tso's! The spicier, the better.

Google translate has helped me out with a lot of foreign-issue cards in the past, but I don't exactly have the keyboard to enter these in for translation in this case.

For example, google says this is: I'm sorry, but I do not know how to speak or read Chinese.

Now if I could somehow figure out how to get it to read scans I'd be set.

I'm hoping to find an internet solution rather than just bringing the items to the local Chinese restaurant and asking an employee, but from the looks of things it may come to that.

Sounds like a good plan to me. You can eat while you're there as well haha

All he did was attack other members and then actually posted personal pics of a member in an insulting fashion.

Buttkrums id was made back in 2012 and not used until just last week. An obvious alt/troll.

I don't know that this would work -- but if your scanner has OCR software with it - it would just be a matter of having the right character set installed to scan in -- then you could plop into google translate.

...or....you could scan and then try this: http://www.newocr.com/

Full disclosure -- I've never used the above website -- I just googled 'online OCR chinese'

There are websites online that will convert a scanned image into Chinese characters, which you could then later run through google translate. The scanned image will need to be of high quality for it to work well.
