8 Years Later - Set Complete

When I got back into collecting back in 2006 or so the two sets I endeavored to complete were the 1993 Finest Refractor set (greatest set of the 90's) and the 1994 Sportflics Rookie & Traded Artists Proof set (b/c I had several from the last time I was in to cards). The '93 Refractors were pricey but I completed the set in a little over a year.
The '94 Sportflics set is highlighted by Arod's RC (at least at the time a $600-$700 card). There really aren't many examples of the cards in this set. I'd guess between 200-300 of each card. Made progress and slowly scratched off the checklist over the years.
About 3 years ago got down to about a dozen cards and really started to make an effort to find those cards. All could be obtained except for the card below. There was not a Chris Gomez to be found anywhere. (Chris Gomez was a 10+ year MLB veteran but as the back of the card says "Neither particularly fast nor powerful...")
This became a bit of a daily Ebay search and at least weekly check of COMC for Chris Gomez. About 2 years ago over a weekend when I didn't check the computer two were listed by the same seller with a "Buy it Now" price. Someone else hit both BINs shortly after they were posted. I supposed I was dealing with a player collector/hoarder (either of which can make collecting a modern low # set difficult).
Well a BIN popped up on Ebay last week and I couldn't log in fast enough. I was thrilled. Arrived in the mail today.
A bit of hobby pleasure.
