Does anyone collect sport cards by State?

Has anyone tried collecting sports cards by State? I collect ALL sport cards from Indiana... baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, race, soccer, wrestling, etc... major, minor, college, high school, etc... does anyone else do this for another State(s)?

    I could collect Kirk Gibson and Pat LaFontaine, actually they went to my High School.

    Teams from Indiana... Indianapolis Hoosiers, Indianapolis Indians, Indianapolis Clowns, Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Indiana Hoosiers, Indianapolis Racers, Indianapolis Ice, Indianapolis 500, Indy Eleven, Notre Dame, Purdue, etc.

    I collect cards with Washington State Cougar players. I also collect other vintage with Washington state lineage and Seahawks, Sonics and Mariners (Rainiers, Pilots, Giants, etc.).

    I've found this site useful when trying to locate UNC or other memorabilia from North Carolina
