Anyone here ever use Venmo?

I had someone ask me today if I use Venmo to take payments. I had never heard of it. But taking a quick look, it is owned by Braintree. There are no fees to RECEIVE money. There are also no fees to send money unless you use a credit card and then it is only 3%. I think paypal is 3.5%?

Anyway, it looks really interesting and I was wondering if anyone here is using it?

Never used it, but it's becoming pretty popular. It's now owned by ebay/Paypal. Paypal used to be free too, BTW.

When did Ebay/Paypal buy it? Must be all a person has to do is make a company and Ebay/Paypal will buy it for millions so they can wipe out the competition.

Didn't know Ebay/paypal bought it. I did use it and was happy with it--transfers went fast. Only issue I had was the facebook posts anytime you used them to send or receive money. I did go in and cancel my account once I realized they were part of paypal now.
