psa set registry luncheon at the national

My apologies if this has already been discussed in another thread today (although I dont believe I saw any posts regarding it but there is a chance I couldve missed something) but did anyone attend the psa set registry luncheon today at the national and if so, how was it???? What did joe talk about???? Last year the new holders and the new CardSlugger game were the main topics so I was wondering what was covered this year; thanks!

Call me crazy, but for me, the PSA luncheon was probably the highlight of my short stay in Cleveland. This year's National was the first time I've attended a card show in upwards of 20 years, and all the participants I met at the registry luncheon were very cordial and shared an obvious love and respect for graded material. Presentations were brief but worthwhile, and speakers touched on several items of note, namely the importance of internet traffic to PSA and customers alike, future expectations for PSA information libraries, a revamped website to come in the near future, the evolution of the set registry, and the introduction of an "oddity" service level that relates to more unique cards (errors, ghost images, miscuts, etc.) that should require more descriptive labels, where numerical grades may have been lacking in the past (having been holdered as "AUTHENTIC" if indeed the cards made their way into a holder at all). To anyone who's not attended the luncheon in the past, I'd certainly recommend going in the future.
