FSHO: 1849-O G$1 Gold Dollar PCGS AU58- Nice New Orleans mint SOLD

This is a tougher O-mint than the more common 1851-O and 1853-O. PCGS is particularly tough on AU58 pieces with almost 4 times as many NGC pieces with that grade. This coin has abundant luster with very little real wear and minimal marks. It has a lot of flash but is still all original. The strike is a little weak on the obverse hairlines and center of the reverse, typical for this date.
