    I'm on top on this one
    Scary part is I'm driving distance from the live bidding and am tempted to go.
    I have not been at a live coin auction before.

    I hope by 'driving distance' you don't mean Jersey? I thought about flying up there. But when I did the math, I quickly realized the premiums for online bidding is less than the cost of air travel and hotel. In any case, I'm definitely depressed about being outbid. The timing just isn't right for me. I've already bought a few big pieces this year.

    2 1/2 hrs of highway driving is not a big deal.
    Might be worth it just for the experience.

    CNG seems to be really underestimating prices these days. I've noticed it in several of there ancients auctions also, they are putting up some estimates that you know are wrong by an order of magnitude or more.

    Yeah, I wanna know who won the coins I bid on so that I can create a Google Search for their family name + "auction" image

    Maybe by the time they decide to sell the coins I'll have enough moon money saved.
