Does what's in this 8 of the date match any Vams ? Full Obverse pics added

I can't find a van for this but i'm no van expert
there is also pitting at the very bottom of the reverse.

    For VAM attribution we do really need to see the full obverse, reverse, close up of the date, etc.
    There really isn't enough information here to make a legitimate guess.

    Ryder, Penske, U-Haul all rent vans. Pitting probably due to rust and poor paint adherence.image

    There are no repunched date varieties of 1878-S, and this feature of your coin appears to possibly be the result of some other passively induced damage to the die, such as a chip in the die. The features of the reverse are more likely to help you narrow down the possibilities. There is at least one '78-S VAM with B2 reverse and die rust pitting around the wreath.
