According to Keith Olbermann video posted yesterday, just this past weekend Bob Lemke uncovered definitive proof of who the six players are there were omitted from the 1953 Topps set.
They are:
253 Joe Tipton
261 Ken Wood
267 Hoot Evers
268 Harry Brecheen
271 Billy Cox
275 Pete Castiglione
So, Bob: I'll be needing a '53 Topps Billy Cox for my binder!
