Lightning Fast Poppage~1970s and 1980 Topps Baseball

After my last sub took 56 days to pop, I couldn't believe the turnaround on this one~TWO business days!! Not an especially exciting sub as I got hammered with 8s on the 75s, but enough winners in the group to make subbing the cards worthwhile. I still believe the 75 Yount is a Mint 9 card and will probably send it in for review with my vouchers. The PSA 9 Rose was a blazer and dispelled the notion that Mint 9 cards cannot be pulled from a 70s cello, LOL.. All of the 75s in this sub were from two cello packs and one rack pack~the 74 Aparicio was pulled from a wax pack a while back, as were the 1980 Brett and Henderson cards. Will post scans shortly.

    Thanks, guys, I appreciate the kind words. I have found that if your sub doesn't pop within 2 weeks, it's usually in for the long haul. Lately, I've waited a while, but this one was a quickie.

    Awesome sub. I had a sub pop after 28 business days this week. I wonder if they are getting caught up due to this month's specials not bringing in many new subs.

    I'm on a couple months on a pack sub myself--those are handled completely different from cards as they have to go back and forth to and from Steve before they even get graded.

    Very nice sub Tim. I think they graded the Henderson, Brett and Yount too strictly. I've seen PSA 9 Henderson's and PSA 10 Brett's that look far worse than yours. Good luck resubbing the Yount that's a beauty.

    Nice job on the Rose Tim. The Yount looks minty as well. I wonder if it got downgraded due to what appears to be a white smudge on the lower left border? Looks like they're still grading very tough.

    Excellent job Tim. I've always liked the simple yet appealing design of the '74 set. Always felt it was underrated and somewhat unappreciated compared to the '73 & '75 sets that flank it.
