Question about MK qualifer

If someone wrote just about anything on a card with pen or pencil, it can typically get graded and have the (MK) qualifier. What about if you have a card with an auto on front that you are pretty suspicious is fake, but you still want to get the card graded due to scarcity? If you don't sub it for either red flip or blue flip w/ DNA inclusion, and instead just send it in for regular red flip grading, can you get a numerical grade? Or will they only give it an "Authentic - Altered" slab even though it would otherwise get a numerical grade plus MK if the writing was anything other than the player's name?

That'll work, thanks.
