Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
What's surprising is that he was a superstar who was extremely famous/popular, and there is basically nothing about his year in Baltimore. I think he had a decent year also in that "dead ball" era. I would like to hear some stories or see some videos of HR's. Was he an All Star that year?

He unfortunately held out after being traded and missed approx the first 6 weeks of the season prior to reporting to Baltimore. Subsequently he wasn't an All Star and Weaver had been quoted saying that if Reggie had been with them the entire season, they may have won the A.L. East.

Notwithstanding that Reggie played in only 134 games that year, he had a pretty nice year:
FIRST - Slugging Percentage SECOND - Home Runs THIRD - OPS Percentage TENTH - RBIs TWELFTH - Runs Scored NINETEENTH - Stolen Bases NINETEENTH - Doubles
I guess Topps thought they would sell more product with him in a Yankee uniform? Strange.

If you remember back then, the new cards went to market later than they do now, so when Topps had started their final printing of the 1977 issue, Reggie had already signed with the Yankees (I believe it was November).

<< <i>Let me rephrase, cards manufactured during his playing days. >>
Technically the 1988 Score Reggie Orioles card was manufactured during his playing days, as he played in 1987 so the 1988's qualify, just like with the Set Registry rules. However, I'm pretty sure what you mean is was there another card of him made picturing him on the Orioles at the time he was actually playing for them rather than just being a tribute card like the Score one.

collecting 1977 topps baseball in psa 9 and psa 10
I have no idea - it begs one question: do we have a "Reggie" collector here? He/she would know?

77T Reggie
Just found this card - I remember it being discussed here.
I think it's a proof from the Toppsvault - there's only a handful around - and I think one went up on ebay last year(?) and went for some nice coin.
