Coins should be eleminated from commerce??

While I was out running errands today I was amazed at all the silver coins in the take a cent leave a cent cups. I saw well over 2 dollars in silver in one, ( and a lot less when I left) at one store. The 3 or 4 other stores all had a lot of silver in the cups. There were cents scattered in the parking lots. Is it time to relook at change in circulation? One store employee told me people under 20 often tell him to keep the change when paying with cash.

I've seen a lot of kids (who presumably don't have to meet their monthly bills on their own) disdain change.
I've had to pay my own bills for a long, long time - I pick up the change they disdain - even the cents - put it in a jar and roll it and take it to the bank when I've accumulated a sufficient amount.
It's surprising how quickly it adds up.

my change back, thank you. And yes, a percentage of that came from being picked up in parking lots. One year I kept parking lot money separate and it came to $28+. Please keep
dropping it on the pavement please.
