2-reales coin - contemporary counterfeit?

I have a 2-reales coin that is significantly underweight - 5.17g instead of the expected ~6.75g. Modern counterfeit, contemporary counterfeit, bad planchet, other?

Looks fake to me. The workmanship, particularly on the shield, looks too poor to be genuine.

If you can show the edge clearly, that may further help.

Looks pretty genuine to me though the shield does look a little funny. Maybe that's because it was struck at a branch mint where the workmanship was not as professional. Contemporary counterfeit would also be a possibility though the workmanship for THAT is pretty professional!
