Back from the USPS, now with a headache.....

The usual quick jaunt to the PO Box went sidewise today - there was a slip in the box instead because the expected package was "too big'.

Line didn't look too bad - except it was the usual group who can't get their packages ready to ship before getting there. The lady doing the registered mail paper tape for a young couple looked like she was wrapping a package for the queen. They were 3 customers ahead of me and still standing there watching her work on it after I left. image

So, after 20 minutes, I finally get to the counter. She takes my slip and comes back with a standard bubble mailer containing 1 PCGS slab that should have easily fit the PO Box with little effort - just bend it slightly.

Then I read the label - from JKCoins - "Photo's - do not bend". image

    Next time tell her "This label says Photos do not bend - but look, they do!" And show her they CAN bend the bubble mailer. image

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    That sounds like my experience with FedEx the last couple days.
    I stayed home on Thursday to be ready for the FedEx guy to deliver my package.
    The FedEx guy just put a note on the door...didn't bother to ring the door bell or knock! image

    I then went online and asked for the package to arrive at the FedEx store so I could pick it up. 36 hours later it arrived at the store!

    Then there was waiting in line....I was 2nd in line but it took 15-20 minutes.

    1 guy was sending 5 packages, but kept telling the FedEx employee how to do his job, complaining about not wanting to sign receipts, etc.
    And I don't know what the other person was doing with his package, but again it seemed like little preparation.

    Finally I was able to pick up my Heritage Auctions lots image

    Actually, you should bill him your going rate for your wait image

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
