Is there anyway to remove foxing (brown stains) from base balls?

Is there any type of conservation you can DIY or are there any base ball conservators?

Are the baseballs autographed? If so, you need to be very careful with them. Any chemicals may create a negative reaction to the ink that was used. Personally, I would leave the brown stains alone.
