1952 - 1956 Card Storage Methods - help!

I am in the process of moving all of my vintage from sheets/albums to top loaders and grading the collection at the same time. Its been a fun project as I never really documented the condition of each card....lot of upside but also a lot of "wow, that card is beat!". One thing is sure, my well-loved collection is not chock full of 10's = none in over 15,000 cards that I have top loaded.
But I digress....
I am looking for the best method to store oversized 50's Bowman and Topps cards. I figure I have about 1000 oversized cards that need protection so screw downs are out as being a cost effective method.
Should I:
1) Keep them in the album
2) Move them to traditional top loads, even though I have no penny sleeve to put them in?
3) Use Card Savers
4) Other method?
Thanks for any input your can provide.

How do you store them once the cards are in the Card Savers? Do you stand them up in some type of card shoebox or do you lay them flat?

Card Saver 1 holder in those BCW card vault storage boxes. There are different size boxes. Check out the measurements of " super size vault" for taller cards vs the " vault storage box" for regular size cards in Card Saver 1 plastic holders. bcwsupplies.com

<< <i>Ultra Pro makes top loaders and penny sleeves for 52-56 Topps. You can search "Ultra Pro Vintage Toploaders". They work great. >>
Leave as is or this idea seems the best to me.
